Hi there, my name is Rebecca J. Burns. I am an entrepreneur, creator, writer, coach, teacher and life-long learner and dreamer with an Obsession for Self-help, Self-Improvement, and Growth!

During part of my adult life, the part that was finally free from the demands of childhood and the grips of another’s demons I discovered that others appreciated advice and feedback that I willingly shared.

I am a big believer in the power of focus and the clean slate of a new day. I was fortunate enough to have a sister gave me a set of Tony Robbins motivational tapes at one of the most pivotal moments of my life, a gesture that changed my thinking forever.

Being inspired was new to me as I never had real-life role models or mentors growing up and Tony helped me realize, it was all up to me!

This experience sparked me to search for more Mentors, Role-Models and resources to improve my life. I have searched the web for years to find the support and advice I cannot live without today.

While I may not know it all, I have learned over years of self-help and helping myself what works for me and I am passionate about sharing those things with you. My goal is that you leave my site with one tip or resource to promote & market your #1 business – YOU!

My mission is to help anyone that feels there must be more in life to realize their full potential by letting go of things that no longer serve you to really identifying what you want in life, not what others expect from you.

My goal is to help you walk out of the darkness towards the light of a new destiny where you are in the driver’s seat. As corny as that sounds, I never knew that I could decide what next and what I would not tolerate in my life.

If I can change my life so can you.

As a young girl I felt invisible most of the time and other times, truly wished that I was. I was often in a new school midyear, this made me stick out like a sore thumb as I was very skinny and had a head full of unruly curly hair, add in a face full of pimples and hand me down hand me down clothing line and life was oh so fun! Home life was not much better.

At home, I was even less visible as most children are in a dysfunctional and abusive home. This led to low self-esteem that carried through much of my adult life. I openly share about some of the pivotal moments of my life such as that moment when you leave or die as well as being honest about the aftermath of a violent relationship and the steps that I took to rebuild my inner worth and self-esteem.

Sometimes our power is taken when we are young or little by little as we grow older.

Sometimes, as it was for me, I was never shown that I was worth anything let alone told I had this unbelievable power deep inside of me.

I am a woman on a mission to help you improve your self-esteem and let you in on a secret of just how powerful you really are.

If as women we can know our true self-worth and teach this to our daughters, unlike many women today they will not have to spend much of their adult life trying to find out who they are and what their true value is, but instead, they can change the world!

I created the line, “I AM WOMAN hear me roar … now get out of my way! As well as, “I AM WOMAN get out of my way!” These are phrases that I have been using for years and I wanted to share them to eMpower all women.
